It's been 8 long months since my last post, but I have a good excuse! I had a baby and have been one busy mommy. I am just starting to get back into the swing of things and thought I would share a few projects I've done.
With soooo many baby ribbons all over the house I decided it was time to create a place to put them. I found this wonderful tutorial to make a ribbon holder on http://comereducaramar.wordpress.com/2012/03/05/porta-laco-e-faixa-de-cabelo/ It's not in English but you can use Google to translate it.
Here is my version!
With Samantha's 1st birthday only 5 and half months away I decided to start planning for it. Most of my friends and family think I am nuts for starting so early but I know you all (my crafty cyber friends) will understand me completely! LOL ..... The crafter in me wants to handmake everything for the party and becuase I will be doing it all myself, I need a good head start. :) I am doing her birthday in a Minnie Mouse. Here are a few things I've made:
Minnie's Polka Dot Bracelets (Favors for the girls)
I even made a few extra to sell in my Etsy shop :)
Minnie's Polka Dot Bows
I know the girls will LOVE wearing these!
Minnie's Magic Bubbles
Not only will the kids enjoy writing their names on their cups but it will
prevent from having have full cups all over the place. The design was created
on Microsoft publisher and printed on Name Badge labels.
While the theme of the party is Minnie Mouse, I thought I should incorporate
some Mickey Mouse favors for the boys. These were super easy to make! I just
bought some cheapy blowouts at the dollar store, took off the original design it came
with, then printed out my own design and glued them on. :)
I'll be creating more stuff for the party in the coming months and will post
them as I make them. :) Until then, happy crafting!
